Governor signs agreed upon bill

On Friday (March 22, 2024) Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed Assembly Bill 1073, also known as the Worker’s Compensation Advisory Council’s agreed upon bill.

The members of the Worker’s Comp Works coalition celebrate this news that reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of a very unique set of stakeholders in Wisconsin.

We extend appreciation to the members of the Worker’s Compensation Advisory Council (WCAC) for their tireless work in crafting and advocating for a bill that was supported and backed by management and labor.. The consensus reached by the WCAC demonstrates the power of collaboration and compromise in advancing policies that benefit workers and employers alike.
