Agreed Upon Bill Passes Assembly

On February 22, 2024, the Wisconsin Assembly passed Assembly Bill 1073, updating Wisconsin's worker’s compensation system with recommendations from Wisconsin’s Worker’s Compensation Advisory Council. This action is another step toward upholding the Wisconsin legislature’s long standing tradition of passing legislation unanimously approved by representatives from both labor and management known as “The Agreed Upon Bill” process. The bill now awaits action in the Wisconsin State Senate.
